Newton Stewardship Committee Minutes

The meeting was called to order by the Chair, Rick Fortin. Attending were Caroline and Ted Pekalsky, Barbara DiBartolomeo, Rick Fortin, Mary Marshall, and Mike Seekamp.
Caroline and Ted Pekalsky were introduced to the committee as the newest members.
Maps of the easements and copies of the Hidden Ares easement were available for anyone who needed them.
There was a discussion of the cemetery and the surrounding property donated by the Rines family. Mike will look into the cost of a plaque of appreciation for the gift to be mounted on the rock at the cemetery.
Rick will set the time and date of the site walk insuring that Ed and/or Bev can be there to discuss the barn maintenance.
The slate of officers for 2014 to be voted on at the fall meeting is: Chair, Mary Marshall, Vice Chair – Rick Fortin, Secretary – Barb DiBartolomeo.
The meeting adjourned at 8:10.
